February 1, 2023: Quoted in Forbes Article

Attorney Noah Klug is quoted in a Forbes article that discusses a Texas bill that will prohibit property ownership by immigrants and visa holders from China, Iran, North Korea, and Russia. In the article, Noah addresses questions about the bill and discusses how its vagueness would affect many types of immigrants, from F1 students to green card holders, who are citizens of the four countries.

2024 H-1B Cap Registration Period Begins

USCIS announced that the initial registration period for the fiscal year 2024 H-1B cap will open noon (EST) on March 1st and remain open through noon (EST) on March 17th. State Department Plans Pilot for Domestic Visa Renewal

Later this year, the US State Department will launch a pilot program offering US stateside visa renewal options for H-1B and L-1 workers who need to travel abroad. Stateside visa renewals will be an option for H and L visa holders who are first-time applicants seeking appointments at US consular offices. It could eventually expand to other visa holders.
